The Vaccination Programme in Indonesia

 Indonesia has started the covid-19 vaccination on January 13, 2020. Vaccination is carried out after passing through the clinical trial in Bandung, using vaccine from Sinovac. Ridwan Kamil as the governor of West Java was injected with a vaccine at the clinical trial. Last week, some people had been injected with the covid vaccine, including President Joko Widodo, Raffi Ahmad, and others. We hope this can be a solution to the pandemic problem in Indonesia.

But there is one thing that needs to be considered, that is the attitude of the people to our government. In the early of Covid-19 entering Indonesia, people wanted a vaccine. After the vaccine is available, people want the vaccine to be free. When vaccines are free, people want the president to be vaccinated first. And now, after the president is vaccinated, there are still many who don't believe this.

Isn't our attitude too bad? I know that some people are still afraid of the effectiveness of vaccines. Of course it can’t be separated from the many hoax news circulating. Therefore, the government has created an official website for the public to access information about Covid-19. Also, Ridwan Kamil as a person who participated in the clinical trial has said that, after 3 months of being vaccinated he has 99% immunity to fight the corona virus. This is again proof that vaccination can be our hope for overcoming a pandemic.

            One thing we also need to fight against is the spread of hoax news. Our country can be destroyed by a lot of hoax news. We must solve this together. Stop spreading hoax news.
